Objectives
The quantum Physics classes also includes practical laboratory sessions where the students put into practice the concepts learned in class. Students do the experiment using "simple" instruments (electronics, optics, radiofrequency, microscopy...) and verify quantum physics predictions.Laboratory sessions
- Optical pumping of Rb atoms
- Zeeman effect
- Scanning Tunneling Microscopy and Spectroscopy.
- Radioactivity
- Principle of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance
- Electron spin resonance
Requirements : First year Quantum physics course.
Evaluation mechanism : written report and oral examination.
