Objectives
This course aims at presenting areas of applications of polymers while covering both fundamental and applied aspects. A particular emphasis is placed on structure/property relationship as well as on top-down approaches to design complex macromolecular systems as a function of targeted properties.Applications areas include: porous polymeric materials and their applications, molecular and macromolecular materials for organic electronic, dynamic covalent chemistry and its use to design polymeric materials and formulations, design of polymer nanoparticles for biomedical applications, olefin polymerization and its catalysis, photopolymerization, biopolymers.
